Gabriella Espinosa - YOGA teacherGabriella Espinosa

Gabriella founded the London Yoga Circle in 2007 with the passionate belief that everyone regardless of age, experience or body type has the potential to embody the wonderful benefits of yoga. She discovered yoga 15 years ago when she took her first Iyengar yoga class. She loved the attention to proper alignment, the self-awareness and clarity of mind that the practice offered. Since then she has explored other forms of yoga studying with leading teachers of Ashtanga, Anusara, Vinyasa and Jivamukti. She has also studied in depth the practice of Pranayama, the breathwork of Donna Farhi and the meditation practices of Siddha Yoga Meditation.™

Her teaching style is inspired by the alignment of her Iyengar training, the synchronisation of breath and movement and the calming power of meditation. Her classes are dynamic and flowing aiming to strengthen the body, uplift the soul and still the mind. She also teaches pregnancy yoga to expectant mothers empowering them with the confidence to be strong and calm as they prepare for childbirth.

She has been teaching since 2007 and was certified by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance. She is currently training to receive her Iyengar Introductory Level Teaching Certificate in October 2011.

Gabriella enjoys sharing yoga off the mat with her husband and 3 young children.

Annabel Chown - Yoga TeacherAnnabel Chown

I started taking yoga classes in 2001, while working long hours as an architect. It felt so good to create that spaciousness and openness in my whole being, and that inspired me to dive in and explore it, ever increasingly. I’ve been teaching since 2007 and am British Wheel of Yoga, and Yoga Alliance certified.

Over the years I’ve taken inspiration from many teachers and traditions, including Iyengar, Astanga, Yin and Vinyasa Flow. I’m increasingly inspired by the heart-opening grace of John Friend’s Anusara Yoga and over the past couple of years have been attending workshops and trainings with him and other senior Anusara teachers such as Bridget Woods Kramer, with whom I completed a 200 hour training in Bali in spring 2010.

My classes are typically flowing and dynamic, yet working slowly within sequences to refine the alignment and experience the most expansiveness and juiciness out of each pose. They aim to cultivate both groundedness and vitality, and with an awareness of the breath encourage the mind to quieten, draw inwards and become increasingly able to connect with and savour each moment as it unfolds, both on and off the mat. The sense of steadiness, spaciousness and vibrancy that a yoga practice offers naturally encourages us towards greater ease, well-being and joy in our lives.

Stephanie Dawson - Yoga TeacherStephanie Dawson

Stephanie Dawson has been practicing yoga for 14 years in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and London.  She loves yoga simply because it makes her feel good, and she wants to help others feel the same way.  Stephanie's classes are rigorous and athletic, with some fun music to bring it all together.  She believes that if you can hold strenuous poses for long periods of time, you will not only gain strength and flexibility, but you will also find the best way to calm your mind...if you don't focus and erase your mind of all other thoughts, you will not get through her class!  Stephanie is certified to teach through Triyoga and the British Wheel of Yoga. When she's not juggling her roles as a yoga teacher, entrepreneur, and jazz vocalist, Stephanie thoroughly enjoys her most important role yet as a mother.
